This project represents the initial concept developed by my team for an augmented reality (AR) mobile application aimed at enhancing visitor engagement in Toronto's Distillery District. The prototype features an interactive AR scanner, enabling users to explore historical overlays and participate in immersive storytelling experiences. Additional functionalities include an event calendar, a community photo gallery, and user-generated content sharing to foster a connected visitor community. This foundational prototype laid the groundwork for a subsequent transition to a fully immersive AR/VR experience designed for VR headsets.
